Introduction to WordPress Workshop

Overview

This course is designed to enable non-technical people to setup and manage their own website through WordPress CMS without any knowledge of programming languages.

It covers the basics of adding content including blogposts, standard webpages, menu items, text, images and video. It also covers choosing the appearance of your website using WordPress themes adding ‘widgets’, installing plugins, search engine optimisation and social media integration.

Learning Outcomes

Participants of this course will have an overview of how to setup and manage a website using WordPress CMS.

Pre-requisites

Participants need to bring their own laptop (Not a netbook) and have a basic knowledge of IT and the Internet.
