At the moment The National Digital Research Centre (NDRC) is looking for your help. Are you: 1. Marketing Executive / Digital Marketer? 2. Creative / Designer? 3. Business Development Executive? A new programme from NDRC is pioneering to spawn start-ups and match mentors up with new ventures this summer. The Swequity Exchange programme will take place at the Inventorium in the NDRC, which is based on Thomas Street in Dublin, starting on the 1st of June, 2012 and main mentoring taking place from the 9th of July until the 3rd of August with a Final Awards Ceremony on the 3rd of August. The programme is particularly reaching out to developers, marketers, business executives, sales executives, designers, entrepreneurs and those who have recently set up their own ventures. â€œThe Long Debateâ€ an Inventorium event to place at NDRC as part of Innovation Dublin Festival 18.00pm â€“ 22.00pm, 11th November,Â NDRC, Digital Hub, Dublin 8 Taking part in â€œThe Long Debateâ€ will be 18 of Irelandâ€™s key contributors and high profile commentators.Â Speakers will include members of the Innovation Taskforce, some of Irelandâ€™s leading economic commentators, industry and government members, academics, creatives and successful entrepreneurs. Attention will be paid to how the report impacts on the development of digital enterprise within health, public services, education, leisure, tourism, culture, entertainment, environment and transport.Â Networking opportunities will be available to audience members. Inventorium is a three-year European funded programme of events, activities and interventions, which focuses on digital sector innovation and interregional development between southeastÂ IrelandÂ and northwestÂ Wales. Invitation to The Long Debate We invite you to this very special discussion The Long Debate â€“ which will take place as part of the Inventorium project, during Dublin Innovation Festival. What is it about? The debate draws on the Innovation Taskforce report. Launched in March 2010, the report sets out recommendations for developing Ireland into an International Innovation Hub, through developing the countryâ€™s creative and smart economy. We invite members of the Taskforce, including some of Irelandâ€™s leading economic commenterâ€™s, industry and government members, academics, creativeâ€™s and entrepreneurs to discuss the nature of innovation within Ireland. Attention will be paid to how the report impacts on the development of digital enterprise within health, public services, education, leisure, tourism, culture, entertainment, environment and transport. A unique format and networking opportunity An evening of lively discussion and networking, not to be missed! Inventorium has devised a special debate format; eighteen of Irelandâ€™s key contributors and commentators have been invited to give their views and opinions. Each speaker will present his or her viewpoint for five minutes.
