Lights, Camera, Actionâ€¦Play!
We previously told you about our plans to create more digital content for SocialMedia.ie. Today is your lucky day because the wait is finally over.Â We filmed the digital video on Tuesday the 30th of September at our Capel Street offices. Liane Costello directed this digital video, with the help of Sam Conor on camera and Ellen Murphy on sound, and Kieran Duffy completed the digital video with his design work. Â Conor Lynch stars in the video along with the rest of the SocialMedia.ie and connector.TV team. Â We had a lot of fun filming this video so we hope you have as much fun watching it! Appy Awards Conor Lynch is one of the judges at the 2011 Appy Awards which will take place in the Mansion House on the 3rd of November. Introducing Fiona Pope, new team member @ SocialMedia.ie
Having recently completed an Honours Degree in Business and Management at Dublin Institute of Technology, Fiona has joined the Socialmedia.ie team. Specialising in marketing, Fiona aimed her studies on the use of social media as a marketing tool. During this degree course Fiona worked as a Sales Representative for Avon Cosmetics and as a Marketing and Events assistant for The Social Media Academy in London. Fiona will be helping us with a range of projects for Socialmedia.ie and connector.TV Welcome to the team!
SocialMedia.ie Weekly News: September 19th
We have been very busy in the Socialmedia.ie offices and have some exciting plans in place. Current Projects and New Team Members Along with our regular social media training, we are currently working on a number of projects with Sage, NUI Maynooth and The Telecommunication Software and Systems Group (TSSG). In addition to these exciting projects, we have four new additions to the Socialmedia.ie team. Joining us are Cian Corbett, Fiona Pope, Liane Costello and Kieran Duffy. Welcome to the team! Exciting News Conor Lynch has been asked to be a judge for the Junior Spider Awards. The programme began in 2009 and is aimed at students at primary and post primary school level. These awards aim to acknowledge the innovation amongst web creators in schools and to honour outstanding online achievements. Closing date for entries is November 1st so apply now!
