SocialMedia.ie / BOSSmetrics.com are seeking a talented junior PHP developer with an ambition to work in the exciting social media sector. You will get to work on an innovative product, built using the latest technologies and methodologies, including ‘The Lean Startup’.

We are looking for someone with some experience building PHP applications. A strong understanding of OOP would be desirable.

During your time with us, you’ll learn all about agile project development, TDD, ORM and various other technologies. You will also gain experience working with MVC frameworks, GIT, Apache and Linux servers.

BOSS Metrics is developed using top industry standards, we’re not building a once off project that, we’re building a living product that is constantly adapting to our customers needs, and we need a development lifecycle that will give us that freedom and power. If you’re interesting in learning the skills and tech that are used to built functional applications, then you have come to the right place.

This is a full time / part time junior position with considerable training and the right person will be happy to work for a modest day rate depending on the level of skill. We are looking at a 2-3 month trial person before we promote the person to a full time salaried position.
