With digital video being increasingly important in social media. SocialMedia.ie wanted to tell you about this great event
starting this Thursday right here in Dublin.

Digital Biscuit, the most anticipated event on innovative film and television production, will arrive at the Science Gallery this Thursday. The combination of talks, product showcases, workshops and screenings is a real must for filmmakers, videographers and digital media students. Among this year’s guests there will be David Yates (Director Harry Potter Series), Jim Sheridan (In the Name of the Father), Richard Baneham (VFX Avatar), Andrew McAvinchey (Citizen TV) and Philippe Brodeur (Aertv). Speakers will cover numerous aspects of film productions, from breaking boundaries and
work enhancement to crowdfunding film and mobile technology.

Director and Chairman of SDGI, Ciaran Donnelly says “Digital Biscuit will place creatives at its core while also serving as a digital expo for new technologies. We want to improve the production capabilities of our most talented creators from the simplest ideas to the highest budgets. We want to empower those individuals with strong talent and ideas to engage with technology in new ways”.

The event will be accompanied by the KinoPlay Space and Suite, the product showcasing area technology demonstration room where industry professionals, educators and enthusiasts alike will demonstrate their products in a creative and non-competitive environment.
