An opportunity has now arisen for 1-2 Marketing/PR graduates interested in joining the team and helping us manage the growth in our business in 2011.  These roles would suit a real social media fanatic looking for a job in the Irish digital/social media marketing sector.

The Roles
These are exciting and varied roles helping us with all marketing activities for SocialMedia.ie and our clients including-

- Building vibrant online communities using our blogs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, email newsletters etc.
- Researching and putting together presentations for new clients
- Organising training workshops and events
- Managing the team of bloggers on our other web site www.connector.tv
- Assisting with online & offline PR
- Updating our contact database with new prospects & clients

Requirements
- You will have a degree in business or communications or equivalent
- You will be very professional and have excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- You will be capable of working on your own initiative as well as within a team
- You will be highly enthusiastic with a passion for digital marketing!

Additional Information
- The roles are either part-time or full-time based on candidate´s availibility
- We have an opportunity for a junior paid role plus a short term role for an unpaid intern
- The chosen candidates will start immediately depending on his or her availability
- You will receive training in digital and social media marketing

SocialMedia.ie helps launch new ESBI Blog

ESB International has entered the world of corporate blogging and has done so with the assistance of SocialMedia.ie & DHR Communications. SocialMedia.ie designed and developed the new blog for ESBI called ‘Energy Innovation.ie and set up the social spaces through which the ESBI blog will be promoted to the energy community around the world.

The project team helped the representatives of ESBI understand and utilize the benefits of engaging with their customers and partners via social media and blogging. ESBI representatives underwent tailored social media training delivered by DHR Communications and our trainer Conor Lynch.  The training specifically concentrated on B2B social media targeting and engaging a global audience interested in the energy sector.

The ESBI bloggers are the company’s senior managers with decades of experience as well as younger members of staff, who have only recently joined the ESBI team. They all will be blogging about topics such as renewable energy, combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) technology, carbon capture and storage, SMART networks, ocean energy, power plant operations and maintenance (O&M), carbon reduction strategies and much more.

We hope the ESBI blog will be a success and will attract the attention of anyone interest in the energy sector and where it is going.  Thanks to the designer Bernie Grogan, developer David Dungan and the DHR team for their great work.
